"I trust Nottingham Animal Hospital with my dog's life. I recently had some questions in regards to blood work, needing to be done every year for a dog that is only two years of age. Dr. Dunham assured me that it should be done every year. To create a baseline and to monitor if anything should change. I was on the fence about it. Being that my dog is extremely healthy and active. I even polled my Facebook friends who have pets and many said blood work is not necessary every year in their opinion. However, after listening to Dr. Dunham explain her beliefs and my own gut instinct, I decided to do the blood work again as part of her yearly exam. My dog's blood work came out fine, but she's in the gray area for a possible tick bite -ehrlichia. So she will need to be retested in a few weeks. If I hadn't had her blood work done, she could have gone an entire year without me knowing about a possible tick bite. It is for this reason, that I always know that my dog is in such good hands at Nottingham with any vet that she sees. Also, the office staff is extremely busy but always treats me like I am the first caller of the day. No matter when I call or with any questions, they are the best office staff around! The vet techs as well are always pleasant and kind to me and my dog. Gracie loves them and I love them! Top notch care, that I always recommend to family and friends."
