Meg
Meg has been in the field of veterinary medicine since 2000, and joined the team at Nottingham in 2004. Meg was born and raised in the Chicago area, and earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. She then moved to Eugene, Oregon where she earned a master's degree in special education. She stayed in Oregon for 12 years, and after spending 7 years in education as a teacher and consultant, she decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She has played many roles in the field since then, including nursing, reception and management. Meg enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, especially the variety - no two days are the same! She has worked at several different hospitals, both large and small. She especially enjoys working at Nottingham because she feels that every team member is dedicated to providing the best care possible to each patient we see.
When she's not at work, her daughter Sophia, dog Cody and 3 cats (Rufus, Mia and Peanut) keep her and her husband on their toes. Meg likes to ride and show her horse, Marvin in her spare time. She also manages to squeeze in a few nursing and management classes with what time is left over. Someday she'd like to read a book and go hiking again, but she's not sure when she'll get around to that! |
