Meet Our Veterinary Assistants

I Love Microscopes!

BRANDI

I started as a veterinary assistant in 1993,  and I have been a technician ever since.  I've been doing it for so long because I love it, all of it.  It's a very rewarding job, and besides, you make a lot of new furry friends!  I've been with Nottingham for the past 8  years.

I have 2 cats, Cuda and Paige.  Cuda was adopted in Albuquerque, New Mexico on my many travels, and Paige on a vacation in Florida.  I also have a third love, my husband Adam.

My hobbies are drawing, painting, and collecting anything Winnie the Pooh.  I love it here at Nottingham;  we are like one big family, and our clients are the extensions of that family!

I Love Monkeys!

SUZANNE

I'm the mother of two and grandmother of one adorable eight-year old girl.  I studied Wildlife Biology in college, so, of course, I ended up working with monkeys in a lab.  I've been at the lab for 20 years.  Getting too old for that sort of thing.  Now, I write reports and oversee the lab work.  I work part-time at Nottingham Animal Hospital, because I miss working directly with the lab animals.  This way, I get to meet people and their animals.  And besides, dog spit is great for the complexion!

KRISTEN

Kristen has been a tech for 6 years, But has always had a passion for creatures of all kinds.
She moved to this area 3 years ago, & after all that time is happy to say she's found a HOME at Nottingham Animal Hospital.

She's been married for 14 years to her husband Lee. They have 2 sons, Matt & Anthony and a daughter, Teresa. They share their home w/ 5 fuzzy faced children, 2 Border collie mixes named Ashley & Pandora, a Boxer named Emmit & 2 felines, Sushi & Boo. Oh, & an ancient Fat-tail Gecko, called Gator.

MARLENE

Although a Canadian native, she does not live in an igloo or eat moose meat!  In fact, she and her husband recently purchased a home in Hamilton, so she's here for good! Her hobbies include teaching Dr. Graham obscure French phrases, riding her bicycle to work, and  hiking with her husband and dog.

Marlene

LESLIE

Leslie has worked at Nottingham for the past 10 years, on and off while she attended school.  She is a graduate veterinary technician, and works at Nottingham during evenings and weekends.  In addition to her husband Jaredd, she is also in love with her Boxers!
